IRS Information
New Qualified Plug-in Electric Drive Motor Vehicle Credit
The 2012 Chevrolet VOLT has qualified for the Federal Income Tax Credit under the "Qualified Plug-In Electric Drive Motor Vehicles (IRC 30D)" program from the Internal Revenue Service.
This program provides "up to $7,500 credit" for qualified persons. This program is not a "Rebate" that is applied at the time of purchase, and not all persons who apply will qualify for the full amount of the credit.
This program is not controlled by General Motors or Singh Chevrolet. Information is pending on how much of the credit will be applied if you choose to Lease the VOLT. When that information becomes available, we will post it here.

Additional Rebates for
City of Riverside Residents
The 2012 Chevrolet VOLT will qualify for a local rebate sponsored by the City of Riverside Public Works Department under the "Alternative Fuel Vehicle Rebate Program". This rebate of $2,000 is available for City of Riverside residents and will continue through 2012.
